MORE DETAILS:
When you buy ANY of our Ninjutsu training downloads, the files will be downloaded to your hard drive where you can instantly play them on your PC or MAC using iTunes or Quicktime (and some other players.) You will not be required to download special software or use streaming permissions or access codes later on whenever you want to watch your videos from you computer. (Note that Apple iTunes may require computer verification if you use iTunes. But you can use free Quicktime without verification.) You can convert the files to other movie formats or sizes with a variety of free software available online if you want, see resources below. You can use them to burn your own backup discs such as DVD’s if you have DVD authoring software (beware of copyright restriction uses, see below.) You can transfer them to USB drives to play on your game system. Or, you can store them in iTunes, clouds, Droid media management services, etc. for streaming to your various devices (especially the "Devices" version.)
We provide a choice of two versions for you, the "DEVICES" version and the "LARGE MOVIES" version. Both are Hi-Def H.264s, but the "DEVICES" are small mp4 files, the "LARGE MOVIES" are large .mov files. If you are not sure which one to get, we recommend the "DEVICES" version which will play on your computers as well as your devices, they are simply smaller and use a more universally playable file format. If you plan to use them on pads or phones you should NOT get the "LARGE MOVIES" version. If you never plan to use them on devices but want to play them full screen on your computer or TV - or make your own back-up DVDs, you should use the "LARGE MOVIES" version. If you are want to get the highest quality version and are willing to convert them to various other formats and sizes yourself later, you should get the "LARGE MOVIES" version. We recommend Quicktime or iTunes (which are free), we do not recommend Windows Media Player.
The “DEVICES” version files will play without needing any conversion on just about anything including most devices and regular Mac or PC computers using Quicktime, iTunes and many other players. The "DEVICES" version is smaller than the “LARGE MOVIE” version files in terms of both frame size and storage space they take up in your computer or device. The “DEVICES” versions are not tiny (such as an iPhone specific size) because that size would make them too small to be worth watching on iPads and other tablets or computers. But they are specifically formatted in mp4 with a good frame size that will look great on iPad, iPod, iPhone etc, AND they will also play and look great in Quicktime or iTunes on a PC, Mac. They work on game systems like PS3, XBOX and Wii from a USB drive. (Some game systems and devices require conversion, which you can do with free software. Some systems require that you load the files into your service provider's media management service to be viewed. See details below.) The “Device” versions take up less space on your drive but have smaller frame sizes so they are not intended to be played at full screen on TV or large computers. In general, the “Device” versions look great, take the least space, can be played on almost anything.
The “LARGE MOVIES” version files of these Ninjutsu training downloads have a much larger screen/frame size and better resolution so they are best for viewing on your large-screen computer or for making your own backup DVDs. They will NOT play on most devices unless you convert them (which can be done easily with free software.) If you want the best visual quality with large screens to play on your computer, get the “Large Movies” version - you can always convert them to other formats you need for other purposes if you are willing to take the time to do that. Beware of copyright restrictions which will be strictly enforced (see below.)
Note about "Android" and NON-APPLE devices such as Motorola Xoom, HTC Flyer, Amazon Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet, Samsung Galaxy S II, Droid, HTC, etc. They claim to play .mp4 files that do not contain Apple "DRM protection" (our "DEVICES" versions are .mp4s that do not have the Apple-protection DRM.) But, depending on the specific model and service provider you use, you may have to take some extra steps to use our "DEVICES" movies because Droid devices are not all compatible for the universal mp4 files yet. The industry is not mature yet and some Droid phones and devices might cause problems - your files may have to be converted or uploaded to where they can stream from a media service using the techniques recommended by your device manufacturer and/or service provider. iTunes claims to also serve our .mp4 "DEVICES" files to Droids, but there are varying reports of success depending on the device, etc. See below for additional free software that converts files to many specific Droid devices if you have trouble. Refer to your manufacturer or service provider if you are not sure.
