Designed for beginning and novice students, the “Ninja Training Video Blog” transmits the wisdom of Grand Master Masaaki Hatsumi through the video teachings of some of his students who formed the web resource earlier this year. Shihan Mark Roemke, a 10th Dan master and 2-decades practitioner of Hatsumi's Bujinkan school, leads the effort with his personal mission to educate people about how Ninja training can be a path toward enlightenment, self improvement and self defense safety. Founder of the 10 year old Santa Cruz Bujinkan Dojo in California, Roemke directs and instructs the weekly video blog which covers technique, weapons, gear, history, conditioning, events, everyday self defense concepts and general advice.

Roemke speaks for all the creators of Ninja Learning Network when he says, “We want to present high quality information and resources that help students achieve a sound base from which to grow into highly accomplished Ninjas. They can theoretically learn a whole curriculum from our “Basics of Ninja Training” videos - although training should always include direct mentorship from a teacher. The better you are at achieving honed skills grounded in the basics, the more effective your "street fighting self defense" performance will be anyway. That's why our subject matter focuses on the forms and techniques we learn directly from the Bujinkan's grand master Soke Hatsumi when we train with him in Japan."
